I was honoured when Chris (Wilkins) invited me to join my old Sensible mate Jon Hare to give a talk about all things Sensible Software at the recent Retro Revival 2019 event in Walsall, UK.
The thing is I’ve never actually been to a retro gaming event before so I had no idea what it was going to be like. I’d seen a few photos on line from similar events but up until this point I hadn’t attend one. Crazy right?
I won’t do a full review of the show here as I can do that in a seperate post, suffice to say it was bloody brilliant! Sharing a panel alongside me old mate from back in those halycion development days of the 90s was excllent and I certainly hope I’m invited to do more of these in the future!
I did plan on recording the talk for future reference but alas before I knew it Jon and I were taking our seats and the the talk commenced. Thankfully the splendid Pixels At Dawn captured the whole thing, for which I’m very grateful as it’s so nice being able to share this stuff with everyone who couldn’t make it – as well as for me personally, friends and family. Thanks fella – You’re a star for recording this! 😉
