A few months back I received a message from co-host of the Retro Hour Podcast, Ravi Abbott, a superb podcast I’d previously been a guest on with his Amiga partner in crime Dan Wood. To cut it short Ravi asked me if I would be interested in being a guest speaker at the Kick Start UK 02 event he was organising for the end of June 2024.

Greetings programs! When I converted my old blog and website over to WordPress many years ago it was with the intention to post stuff about my work and various titbits of info around it. But one thing I didn’t factor in was time. UrbX Warriors is taking a huge chunk of my time of late which is good, but means with everything else I’ve just not had the time to post anything decent to my blog.
It’s nice when ones work is recognised as it validates in some way the effort put in to create something you feel happy and confident to release to the world. One thing that always hits home is when someone from the industry praises my work, in this case Sean McClure who like many artists has worked on many of the games you have probably played over the years.
